Zakuul · 300+ ABY · Second Life Roleplay
"The shadow carries what the light forgets."
Born from silence. Built by hands both Force-sensitive and not. Governed by an ancient intelligence that predates living memory. The Umbral Accord is not an empire it is something the galaxy has not seen before. A Force-rooted civilization thousands of years old, that chose survival over conquest, and patience over ambition unchecked.
What We Are
The Accord was not born from a single vision. It was forged through argument, necessity, and the recognition that no single faction could survive alone.
The Umbral Knights are the founding order of the Accord, and their presence runs through it like a current beneath still water. Dark and light both. They are one faction among many, but they are the oldest. The Accord was built to hold more than one banner under its shadow.
Engineers, merchants, soldiers, healers, scholars: people of every background who answered a call they could not explain built this place alongside those who could touch the Force. That history is not forgotten. The Accord does not apologize for what it is.
An ancient intelligence that predates living memory sits at the summit of the Accord. It chose endurance over conquest. It waited for millennia. It calculated. Now the doors are open and it watches still.
What to Expect
The Umbral Accord is a Star Wars roleplay community set in Second Life, 300+ years after the Battle of Yavin. The City of Twilight on Zakuul has been standing for thousands of years, ancient and alive, governed by the Axiom and the Senate. The doors opened recently. The wider galaxy is just beginning to find its way back to this forgotten world.
We prioritize long-form, character-driven RP. Political intrigue, personal history, faction dynamics, and consequence-bearing choices. Combat exists, but it is not the point. The Accord rewards players who think in terms of legacy, not just victory.
The Umbral Knights are the founding order, but the Accord is not a Force-only sim. Merchants, soldiers, civilians, Force-sensitives of every alignment, and wanderers with no allegiance at all have a place here. If you have a reason to be on Zakuul, the Accord has a place for you.
All visitors arrive through Penumbra Station before setting foot on Zakuul. It is the threshold between outside and in, and it is a good place to get your bearings before the city swallows you whole. Start there.
